American ballet dancer Sarah Hay has made the move into acting, landing the lead role in next year's TV ballet drama Flesh and Bone, commissioned earlier this year from Breaking Bad writer and executive producer Moira Walley-Beckett.

Hay, who started at the School of American Ballet aged eight before joining the Dresden Semperoper Ballett in Germany in 2010, has played the title role in Cinderella and also previously appeared in Black Swan and You're Invited to Mary-Kate and Ashley's Ballet Party.
